Ramp Designer

Ramp Designer is the flagship product of Rost Software created for designing sidewalk curb ramps to meet federal ADA and local standards. Developed over years of iteration and practical experience, Ramp Designer offers an unprecedented level of control for creating any sidewalk ramp configuration, from the simple to the most complex.

The core functionality of Ramp Designer lies in allowing the user to assign slope ranges to created segments. The user creates points of interest, creates connecting segments, and then specifies the minimum and maximum slope ranges and slope direction. Ramp Designer can then calculate a solution based on these parameters that minimizes slope across the design. Any criteria that are impossible to meet are highlighted for easy modification.
